Frequently asked questions.

What services do you offer?

I specialize in individual and business tax preparation, bookkeeping, sales tax filings, business and payroll consulting and IRS resolution services.

Do you work with both individuals and businesses?

Yes! I help individuals, sole proprietors, partnerships, S corps, and corporations.

How do I become a client?

Simply call or text me at 516-909-3894 or email scott@scottdannacpa.com to schedule a free consultation.

Where are you located?

My office is located in North Bellmore, NY and I work with clients throughout Long Island, New York and beyond.

Do you offer remote or virtual services?

Yes, I offer secure virtual appointments and digital document upload options for convenience.

Can you help me if I owe back taxes or have IRS issues?

Absolutely. I specialize in helping clients deal with IRS letters, audits, and payment plans. Lots of my clients come from a bad previous accounting experience, I can help you clean everything up.

Do you offer year-round services or just during tax season?

I’m available year-round for tax planning, business advice, and bookkeeping support.

Can you help me set up a new business?

Yes! I can help you choose the right entity type, file for an EIN and get your books set up correctly. I do not handle the legal formation of the new business but I do work with a number of attorneys that can take care of that aspect and I will be there to guide you along the way.

How much do your services cost?

Fees vary based on the complexity of the work. I offer fair, flat-rate pricing with no surprise fees. My main goal is to make sure you are happy and comfortable with the fees.

What if I only have one or two documents? Do I really need a personal advisor?

Okay… maybe you don’t technically need one. But why not have one—especially if you can find someone reasonably priced (hi, it’s me 👋). Don’t hand your taxes over to TurboTax or bounce between strangers at H&R Block year after year.

Let’s start building that relationship now, while things are simple. That way, when life gets more complicated (and it will), you’ve already got someone who knows you, your history, and exactly where you keep that random 1099 you always forget about.
